ECLB Programs

We have a variety of programs to help activate and develop our properties, depending on our inventory and community needs. Programs affect single- and multi-family homes, vacant lots, even new construction. Get in touch with us to learn more, or read below.

The Essex County Land Bank is committed to promoting sustainable development, historic preservation, and affordable housing solutions throughout the county. While our primary focus is on acquiring and repurposing properties for housing and community revitalization, we work closely with our partner organization, PRIDE of Ticonderoga, to provide a comprehensive range of programs and services.

For homeowners in need of rehabilitation or emergency repairs for their homes, we encourage you to reach out to PRIDE of Ticonderoga. As a trusted non-profit organization dedicated to historic preservation and community development, PRIDE offers owner-occupied rehabilitation and repair programs to eligible individuals and families. They provide invaluable support, guidance, and resources to help homeowners restore and improve their properties.

Additionally, for those seeking housing counseling services, PRIDE of Ticonderoga and HAPEC offer professional and HUD-certified housing counseling. Their experienced counselors provide guidance on various housing-related matters, including foreclosure prevention, rental assistance, budgeting, and more. Whether you need assistance in navigating the complexities of the housing market or exploring homeownership opportunities, they are here to help.

While the Essex County Land Bank does not directly offer owner-occupied rehabilitation and repair programs or housing counseling services, we collaborate closely with PRIDE of Ticonderoga and HAPEC to ensure that individuals and families in our community receive the support they need. By working together, we can effectively address the housing needs of our residents and contribute to the overall well-being and vitality of Essex County.
