This study aims to assess potential housing development opportunities that include a blend of homeownership and affordable rental units, emphasizing community feedback, grant subsidies, land use planning, and design considerations.
Key responsibilities for the selected consultant include:
- Engaging the Newcomb community through public meetings, surveys, and focus groups to understand housing needs and desires.
- Conducting a market analysis to gauge homeownership and rental unit demands considering demographic and economic factors.
- Assessing available land for development, aligning recommendations with environmental impacts, zoning regulations, and community goals.
